Re: help needed…
Oh nice! I’m glad you got it! I’m doing my 2nd 40% Lactic Peel tomorrow night!

No! Don’t dilute it or mess with the product in any way. At the end of the day these are chemicals that you (and me!) don’t know much about so I strongly recommend again “messing” with it in any way. (at least I wouldn’t do it).

If you have 2 special events this weekend…personally I’d recommend against doing a peel for the 1st time this weekend. When I did Glycolic (and even now w/ Lactic)…my face never “peeled” but for several days…got extra dry and flaky (make-up doesn’t look good on flaky skin…lol). What I tell you about these peels (and what you read/see online) are people’s personal experiences. Everyone’s skin is different. 1 or 2 days after the peel…your skin might be just fine. OR it could be super dry/flaky/pink. The only way to find out how your skin will react is to actually do the peel.
Also, personally, once I do a peel…at least for 1 or 2 days…I don’t wear MU…just sunscreen and moisturizer (allowing my skin to heal without putting too much crap on it!).
If I were in your shoes…I’d hold off on the peel until after the special events. BTW, let us know how it goes when you do it! ![]()
