Im applying to the Uk , Usa and NUS(Singapore).
I had bio and Chemisty at O level ( grades B and A respectively) but Economics, Math and Sociology at A level ( got AAA at AS level). I’ll be appearing for Alevel Eco, Math , Socio in June and Im also planning to give A level Bio in the June session. I know I can apply to the US for a science major (biomedicine, biochemistry or sumthing related) but im not sure wht schools to apply 2 and whethr its recommended to give atleast one science subject at A level or no sciences is fine? Any idea?
These are the Unis im thinking of applying to in the US:
University of Texas Austin, Boston University , University of Califronia LA, University of California San Diego, Texas A & M University, State Uni of New York, Rutgers NY, Cornell, Pennsyllvania State U, University of Southern California, UC Berkeley, U of Michigan, Washington University. I think these r good for the course im applyin for .. cud u guys gimme ur opinions? Ur welcum to edit my list of colleges. I’d be very thnakful if any of u can provide me the link to the rankings of American Universites SUBJECTWISE. Also, wht SAT 2 subjs shud i take if im applyin for bio-medical sciences. Bio and Math 2c is wht im thinkin. Shud i giv a 3rd subj? If yes, wht shud i give?
In Uk.. Im applyin to Imperial for biology and UCL for bio-medical sciences. Cud u teme where else to apply for biological sciences with only Biology and Math (no A/AS chemistry and no Physics at O level).
If any of u r at National U of Singapore or kno anythin abt it: I dont have A/AS Chemistry, can i still apply for a biology major. I cheked their req but it said i shud check the specific major req which i cudnt find.
Lastly, wud i have better job prospects wid a biology major or wid a Mathematics one in 1) US 2) Uk 3) Pakistan?
