Ok…now my credit scoring is appalling…I have recently opened up a savings account so i can actually have the loan money transferred there…
Now i am completely broke for the next couple of months or so…so my solution is a student account…overdrafts where the money isnt mine…now you see why i have such bad credit scoring…
What i need to know though is which banks are the easiest to open one up with…HSBC and Natwest excluded cos iv had accounts closed down with them…
If someone can advise me…or if someone knows a bank that doesnt do a credit check…let me know…im desperate…
Thanks…
Re: Help Needed...Student Account Application...
YIKES! Accounts closed by banks is VERY bad for credit. Most banks do a credit check for a checking account but will open a savings without much hassle. You might be in some deep doodoo.
Re: Help Needed...Student Account Application...
Credit check is necessary & its bank's responsibility to make check under consumer & credit laws. You will not find any bank without credit check. What you can do is go to some existing building society & open savings only accout, start putting some money in it & rebuild your credit, if u have bad credit then pay ur bills & write to credit agency for a report (and removal of ur name from bad credit if fixed).
Re: Help Needed...Student Account Application...
NBN, also consider a credit union if you are eligible for one, they are usually more accomodating than banks.
Re: Help Needed…Student Account Application…
Wait what? So if i open a bank account, they’re gonna do a credit check on me? But i dont even have any credit ![]()
Re: Help Needed...Student Account Application...
^^^ Theyll let you make an account, but it will have limiations. Foe example, the credit card limit is going to be very low (around $500 or so i think). But if youkeep paying your bills (credit cards, gas, electricty bla bla.), your credit rating will go up, and hence, yourcredit card limit, gegting better loans etc
