Hello Friends,
I have read somehwere on this forum that using methi seeds in olive and mustard oil help to grow hair back.
can anybody plz tell me the correct way of doing it.
should i leave methi seeds soaked in the oil for sometime before i start using it?
should i crush the methi seeds before adding them into the oil?
There is one more question in my mind . Kindly tell me if using castor oil is a better option for hair growth and thickness?
will the hair shed using it initially.
Re: Help needed --> query regarding using methi seeds for hair loss
Hi, I have never heard of this - I guess this is a more traditional way of doing this. I know mustard oil helps hair growth.
I also know a product called Nioxin - available at Amazon also helps - its a bit expensive but it genuinely works. I know this as when I go to Pakistan and come back my hair starts shedding due to water change or something! Anyway I use this product it promotes new growth and thus thickens. This also works for men according to the reviews!

Saadeenedian08,
You will find a hair remedy consisting of methi seeds, olive oil, and mustard oil in the link below. Look at post # 12. All questions should be answered in the post…just read it carefully.
Re: Help needed --> query regarding using methi seeds for hair loss
I warm-up olive oil and coconut oil and add-in about 1/2 cup of methi seeds and 1 cup of henna leaves. That's the way my grandmother taught me, we let it steep for a few hours and transfer it into a clean glass bottle and keep it out in the sun for a few days..strain and use it.

Saad, check other factors as well such as diet, sleep, and stress. I've noticed an improvement in hair with taking supplements and eating a more nutritious diet.
Re: Help needed --> query regarding using methi seeds for hair loss
I've heard of letting the oil steep in methi seeds.....and then applying ONLY the oil to the scalp. The methi has a garam effect that is absorbed by the oil and increases circulation of the scalp. You can even try including methi seeds/leaves in your diet. I had read that there was a German painter (I think) who ate feungreek (methi) for his bronchitis....and noticed that his hair had improved and regrown even.

what did this do to ur hair,
and when you mean STEEP you mean you let it sit in that mixture for few hours and then put into a clean glass bottle and leave in the sunlight.......?
HOW often is this done, and what effects does it have to the hair.
