i’ve been ogling dresses online left and right but I can’t seem to find anything in the combination i have in mind. i’m not really into clothes and have never gotten anything formal made for myself from scratch so I’m afraid the dress in my head won’t translate well. i’d really appreciate pictures of similar dresses if you have any or just your opinion / ideas / feedback since a lot of guppans here seem to have pretty decent taste and much more experience to boot.
i want a clean small morning ceremony possibly preceded by a dars and followed by a small brunch. i want the event to be pretty but light and informal, somewhat intimate, and a bit fun this here is my inspiration board so far:
the pink in the second picture’s got me wanting a white/ivory dress with a pink dupatta. can’t decide on the shade of pink, but this one looks good - what would you call this?
i want the dress to be chiffon, with long sleeves, a flowing shirt - kind of like this dress, except with a lot less work and without the big border at the bottom, and the colour of the kaam switched to silver / white from gold. I also don’t want the dress to be glittery or very formal/heavy, just pretty, graceful and fun
what do you guys think? does it sound like it would work? or should i switch to an all white or all pink dress?
i’d also really appreciate pictures that illustrate the colour combination or the kind of work i should get done on the dress.

i'm glad to hear you think the combo could work. so far i've only seen it in bridals with pale golds, ivories etc. in rich cloths like silk and with lots of work to bring it out. was worried my thing would be too stark with plain white.

No problem:) as long as u do a good pink color that isn't too pale or too bright it should be fine and it will look great!
