Is that what people think of me? Why can’t I be a saaf suthhara, baa-eemaan shakhs? ![]()
Re: Help needed - Hajj packages
Are you really planning to go for Hajj this year? ...Mashallah
I think the people going for Hajj from the US get the best packages ever, its bit expensive but its Hajj, if you have the means why not. All you have to do is select a package and pay for it. I think this year Hajj flights will start in the last week of December since the Hajj is going to be in the first ten days of January, probably on the 8 or 9th.
Here is good site www.Dawntravels.com (1-212-244-1818) they have a variety of packages from US.

Aww, Roman… you can be
but we dont believe you
I reckon they wont give you a visa and slam the doors in your face!
dont bother…go to Disneyland instead
Re: Help needed - Hajj packages
Roman, are you really going for Hajj? :D
You don't really have to do anything other than find a good package. Be weary of the whole, 5 star hotel v. 3 star hotel scheme. At the end of the day, pay extra money if you don't want to share your hotel room with anybody else ... but remember, in tent city you will be with everybody else, there is no avoiding it.
The organizer will arrange for everything for you ... your visa, your ihram, you'll get a brief crash course on what is involved during Hajj before you leave, as well as your vaccinations. At least, that is how it was done for us here in Canada.

Roman Bhai, I have been told these people are good and take care of you at the time of hajj. One of my close friends is going to Hajj 2006, with a side trip to Pakistan costing around $5k. This includes the visa fee, the qurbani fee and food plus they are paying $250 extra per person to be staying 3 in one room rather than 4 people in one room.
