My designer has started work on my walima jora
I saw a sample and it seemed fine but now when I look at it i’m not sure about the largish green stones she is using
After looking at Sehar Khosas dress I’m beginning to think they could look tacky… although my dress has nicer kaam on it
and she isn’t using lots of stones either just a few here and there. the dress is half done
I’m thinking about whether I should ask her to change the stones to champagne so they are more subtle
I don’t want to post the pic on here but I’m happy to pm a few people if they are willing to help me

I think if there are just a few large colored stones like you said, it will give the jora a nice pop. In my experience, making your own changes never turns out the way you imagined it. It sounds beautiful, good luck!

Sometimes pictures dont do justice! Im sure itl turn out lovely id be happy to give my opinion! Nows the time to ask for changes, just remember dnt try and cram too many ideas onto one dress

Too large contrasting stones dont look very nice to me, depends a lot on the design and color of the stones though. If it's not looking good to you then ask her to change them to white or champagne.

I don't like contrasting stones, specially if big enough. They kind of stand out from the dress. Subtle champagne stones would be something I would prefer.
Still, would be better judged when seen...
