o and u know how to get the flowers to hang right? You thread the thread through them, like you make flower necklaces. Using a needle!

After using the fishing wire to loop through and make the garlands...what do you recommend hanging the garlands from? I would need a pole or stick or something like pvc pipe but I don't want it to look ugly...any recommendations??

you could cover the pole in wrapping paper, something subtle but very high end- you dont want cheap wrapping paper haha. or you could cover in fabric and glue along the seam. then you'd use two more loops of fishing wire and attach it to hooks in the ceiling.

Hey fellow forum buds, I’m helping one of my best friend organize his Walima. He’s here in the U.S. alone for school and all his family is overseas so he’s having a hard time doing everything. His fiance’s side is organizing the shaadi and helping him as much as they can, but he needs help with the Walima.

1. The theme for his fiance’s bridal suit for the Walima is Off White/Emerald Green with an Orange border. So we’re thinking the backdrop should have shades of orange for a contrast? He doesn’t want to have her blend in with the stage. And it’s a June wedding. Any ideas or pics of stages, centerpieces? If you can help with any of the above points, please do! He meets with the wedding planner(who is a Caucasian lady not familiar with desi traditions) in 2 weeks and he wants to show her what he wants…Thanks a bunch!
