help!!need advise on gaining weight

if only there was a way of transferring weight from one person to another.. life would be oh so simple :bummer:

eat healthy (ie fruits, veggies) drink orange juice.. dont start eating fried food or any kind of junk food. That wont do a thing. Oh, and yeah exercise.. some girls who are anorexic go to the gym to put the weight back on… consult ur doc :k:

105 pounds for her height is okay, I dont think she needs to gain. My BMI is lower than her and yet I wanna lose a few more.

Anorexicbeti. :)

tnc, stfu :) ..I ain't anorexic or bulimic. Neither do I look like a skeleton. For my body, this weight kinda looks okay, though like I said I would prefer losing 3 to 4 more pounds.

maddy: same as above.

Then explain why medically you are classified as underweight?

A double whopper with extra cheese no pickles and heavy onions everyday for a month will take care of your weight issues. I guarantee it! :smooth: :smooth: :smooth:

field of medicine needs to lower the values. Any weight medically normal is fat. :p

Urgh. You’re like, soooooo sukhi :mocking:

walk and a balanced controlled diet.

Hello Ms Salma, I have the same issue with my oldest little boy who has been underweight since birth and I've struggled these 3 years to get weight on him in a healthy way. Here are some things you can try

Use extra virgin olive oil in your food. Its one of the "heart-healthy" oils, lowers bad cholesterol and raises good cholesterol. And its 120 calories per tablespoon!

Add powdered milk to regular milk. You'll get twice the benefit and no change in the taste.

Make puddings and use the milk and powdered milk. Also add a bit of olive oil.

While you need fruits and veggies for good health, always try to prepare them in a way that adds extra calories - fruits in syrup, veggies with butter or oil etc.

Good luck! Its nice to see that not all young women are striving to be skeletal! And I think men appreciate a little bit of meat on the bones too!

thankyou mamaof3 i needed good advise n u gave it to me! lolz i need meat on me i dont want to be too boney for ma hubby to be!! every day ppl are like damn u are too skinny lolz it aint ma fault its in ma genes!! ma dad was skinny wen he was ma age but now hes gone fat cause he getting older!! anywayz ma fam are like u dont need to put weight on cause wen u have kids u will put on weight helloooo!! i need to put on weight now!! lolz anywayz enough bout me hey its just tooo hard to put on weight i need to look nice on ma wedding day innit!! lolz:)

Mad, medically anyone 10% over their ideal body weight is classified as Obese. So, medically, you will be classified as such. Right?

My BMI is 21.7. A BMI value of 18.5-24.9 is normal. Obese is a BMI of over 30.

I love being right :hula:

Hello again Ms Salma, glad I could help!! Anyway, I'm sure you will be beautiful on your wedding... and not to worry about gaining weight when you have babies. I've had 3 and I was back in my regular jeans one week after giving birth each time. And I just LOVE to eat! Not everyone gains alot of weight with babies!

25+ is obese, you are dangerously close to being obese.. tsk!
