Help me

Hi guys,
I have a wedding to attend in end of January, and I really dont want to wear evening gowns( western) because its getting harder and harder to find a evening gown that is suitable for Muslim girls. I dont wear a Hajib or anything but I dont like wear sleeveless or show my back and chest and stuff. so finding a really beautiful outfit is so hard.

I want a really nice brand our shalwar Kameez to wear that is just breathtaking. can you guys help me please ?

Re: Help me

well than wear a shalwaar kameez...where ru located? there must be some paki designers who can make something gr8 for u just the way u like w/o showing off any skin :).

Re: Help me

Wear trousers with Kameez instead of shalwar and keep the kaam light!!

Re: Help me

I live in Dallas,Texas and all of the stores here are really bad clothing

Re: Help me

why not a sari? they look superb.. maybe a nice black one?

my advice will be to get a nice dress even if it is sleeveless or shows a little back then buy a really nice cover up/cape/ shrug to go with the dress. You should just go to prom dress shops or big department stores and buy one that matches a dress. I would recommend getting a dress with a good cut that fits perfectly but is a bit plain then go for a sequenced shrug. Or you could get a matching silk scarf and place that behind your shoulders.

Re: Help me

Its not impossible to find decent dresses, just difficult! Here are a few examples:

If you wanna go desi, you could perhaps go for a nice pishwas with churidaar pyjama
