well accoding to ISLAM the marriage is only valid if the girls mother okays it... so do not be stupid... as a muslim had to advice u..
no one wants to start their new life without parents blessings... concentrate on ur studies... love can make u think stupid!

Islam gives equal opportunity to both men and women to decide with whom they gonna marry. It is BETTER to have parents involve but no where I cam across that without parents consent your marriage is not valid.

If not, Its seems you are too much in "blind love" and its hard for you to actually see the overall picture.
I agree with you take the advice of many people here .... which I agree is hard.
Hence, I v.v.strongly propose the idea that Take it Slow! V.Slow! Take 2-3 years before you actually move on with him

it’s not the mother, it’s the guardian, so usualy the father:D…unless she is a convert…in that case she has no guardian, and needs the consent of no one else but herself

go ask the imam shab, in some cases you can marry without the bride’s mother consent but first u need to get imam shab ijazat after explaining him the situation… i am pretty sure what I have said so far is accurate
u ladies cry that females do not have much say, clearly in this case u have the veto power

Well if Pakilover joins the US Army/Marines/whatever she cannot just marry a Pakistani citizen without both being vetted and all procedures being complied with.... that takes mucho time, so his family better have a long term "get him a greencard" plan in place !
