  1. I agree with PM - keep your working out to before 4 p.m The later in the day you work out the more alert your brain is.

  2. Same thing with t.v and reading - simulatig your brain

  3. A hot bath, meditation and namaz helps.

  4. my room has to be pitch dark - I turn the face of the alarm clock and the baby monitors away from me.

  5. Try to establash a routine - get up earlier in the day (alarm at 5:30 or 6 a.m) and you'll be ready to hit the sack by 10 p.m

  6. your last resort is to take drugs for 2-3 days to establish a routine.

and here am I! Finding ways to reduce my sleep which is getting on my nerves now... :(

:hmmm: who knew that focusing on my breathing would be the key to my sleeping…

Seriously, all you insomniacs out there, try the breathing technique above ^. I’m not saying that i had a wonderful 8 hour sleep by doing it, but i slept for a lot longer than i usually do… just by concentrating solely on my breathing, i was able to nod off…who’da thunk it?

The only problem was that whilst i was doing it, the hubby burst out in a fit of laughter and told me i was stopping him from sleeping… :grumpy:
