Sahar - lovely decor on the suprise dholki! The kapra hanging over the sofa really stands out esp. against the red wall behind it... How did you attach it to the ceiling? and do you recall how much kapra you need to create this type of look?

girly girl -- That was like 6-7 dupattas left over from BIL's mehndi. We attached it all with strong adhesive tape! I wasn't sure it would work, but it did. And the walls were fine.

I only read your post riya and saw picture of stage some1 posted.

I would like to share my ideas as I did it before and love to do.

First I will say.

Agar aap apni dost kay liaay kar rahi hain to dost ko na batain aur us kay parents bahan waghaira ko batain.

Is liaay kay aap surprise party dost kay liaay kar rahi hain.

Dost kay ghar pay hi rakhnay ka intezaam karain. Dost ko batain us din subah say aa jain gi aap.

Kapron ka color aaj kal kia chal raha hai mujhay naheen maloom. Laikin mahndi ki munasibat say agar green aur red ya sirf green color ka kuch ho to achcha lagay ga.

Stage ki jo picture hai wo bohat achchi hain laikin meray khiaal main itni oochi naheen honi chahyay na bohat neechi na oonch takay tasveer aur movie main bhi nazar aay yani sub kay sir say aik haath ooncha ho.

Samnay ki taraf zara parday ki tarha ka kisi sari say design bana lay tasveer main achcha lagay ga. Us pay kaghaz ya orignial phool or/ya sitaron waghaira so saja lain.

Sitaray mach kartay hon larki kay joray say. Agar golden kaam ho to sitaray bhi golden hon aur agar silver kaam ho to silver sitaray lagain.

Larki ka jo kapray ka color ho us main say us main say ho sakay to saray color ya kuch color zaroor add karain stage ki sajawat main.

Larki kay kapray ka color aap nain shayad 4 ya 5 chunain hain mera khiaal hai 3 say ziada na ho to bahtar hai.

Stage ko mukhtalif sarion say sajain yani agar laki ka kapra multi color hai ya 3 color ka hai to ho sakay to 3 color kay combination say sajain.

Stage kay under ki taraf lataktay huway sitaray ya koi design waghaira lutka dain jo banay banay milty hain ya sirf aik beech main ball numa ho aur atraaf main sitaray hon.

Sofay ki jagah oonchi kursi ho to ziada bahtar hai.

Rasm bhi kursi par hi kia jaay to achcha hai movie achchi bunti hai bajaay neechay bitha kar karnay kay.

Kursi ya sofa jo bhi hai usko bhi sajain takay khushnuma maloom ho picture main.

It was colored tape – is that duct tape? It wasn’t double sided. It was red colored and it was on the inside, so you couldn’t see from the outside. And then covered with the strings of leaves and flowers.
