It was colored tape – is that duct tape? It wasn’t double sided. It was red colored and it was on the inside, so you couldn’t see from the outside. And then covered with the strings of leaves and flowers.

EDIT – This is exactly what I used – Shop 3M: Tapes Duct and Cloth Tape

So tape comes in different colors duh (note to self: spend more time @ Home Depot or something) Great practical info Sahar, thanks!
