- Help me help a recently broken hearted friend

All you lovey dovey GS peeps, I tried helping a very goodfriend of mine who recently got DUMPED. But as you all know I suck at things like that, now it’s upto you peeps to advise, cheer up and feel sorry for him because I can’t stand to see him cry like a woman evey 5 minutes!!!

PS: He’ll be reading this thread!

Sorry to burden everyone with thread of this nature, but I’m feeling crappy and I need to talk about it even if it is to people I don’t know. And you all probably already know Samael is a big insensitive womanizing jerk (j/k bro).

My girlfriend of 4 years had been acting strange recently. She usually would tell me everything about her day but then the details stopped, stories stopped making sense and matching up. I first asked if everything was ok, and I asked her if there was someone else, she said no. I said “If there is someone else you would break up with me first right” and she said “Yeah, that would be common courtisy”.

On Saturday I went to her house to give her a break from her studing and keep her company, but she wasn’t there like she said she would be. So I waited for her. Went to log in to my hotmail account while I was waiting for her and hers came up by default because of the “Remember” box was checked. I noticed some strange titled emails before I closed the window. I was curious and also kind of in shock, and tried denying seeing the subjects I saw. I didn’t want to be a snoop, but I reopened it anyway and I found out she started an online dating account and was about to cheat on me. I confronted her about it on Sunday when she called me (she didn’t call me all weekend which was not like her at all) and we broke up.

I haven’t been able to sleep or eat. I’ve had maybe 4 hours of sleep since Saturday and I haven’t eaten since then either. I tried but it makes me want to vomit. The fiery talons that are scraping at my stomache wont let me eat.

I’m happy that I found out now rather than being married, and we probably wern’t right for each other but it still hurts because I still loved her deeply.

It came down to her lack of self confidence (among other things), I would tell her shes beautiful but it was like I was saying it to a brick wall, she was treating it like I had to say those things because it was my “Job” as a boyfriend. So she started looking for complements and attention from other people.

sigh oh well, such is life right? I fear that this will hurt my trust in women. Why can’t I find a nice honest faithful girl who appreciates a honest faithful guy?

everything happens for a reason…like u said…good thing u found out bout it rite now…rather than later in life when u were too far to turn back.

u’d hear these kinda stories from girls..bout their ex bf’s…lekin some girls r just such…kya bolun. aisa hota hai…all u can do is…try to get over her. she treated u bad…she didnt find it necessary to tell u wut was going on or how she felt..

u deserve better. try to look ahead…instead of looking back. 4 years is a long time…n everyones gonna tell u the same thing…give it time. time is the best healer
