I have been invited to a very fancy dinner at a very fancy restaurant in london by a doctor friend of mine turned model married to rich banker.
I am in a MASSIVE stress about what to wear, i cannot afford luxurious designer clothes but I obviously cannot turn up in a pair of H&M jeans!
The shoes are sorted… they look like this ANKLE STRAP SANDAL - Shoes - Woman - ZARA United Kingdom
but what can i wear??? arghhh say I have a budget of £50-60??
help girls!

Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
Does this particular banker work for Societe Generale? As an investment banker in the M&A division?
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
First tell me that you're not going to be wearing tights or leggings with these shoes? I'm trying to envisage them with something other than a dress but I can't.
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less…
What about a plain black jumpsuit?

Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less…
There can be tons of options but it depends on your dress code.
A short lace black dress will be very classy or a wrap dress.
Safari shirt dress | Banana Republic
Gemma wrap dress | Banana Republic
Or a pencil skirt with a fabulous blouse.
You can do a fitted cropped trouser but then open shoes don’t go with those. You will need high heel pumps with trouser.
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less…

Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
i like the jumpsuit a lot too (and those shoes are for it) but i'm not sure if it's the right event for it.
i was thinking about black cigarette trousers but i can't picture them with these shoes easily. in which case, i'd try them out together if you can get some. milly told me she takes shoes with her. i buy, try at home then return if not suitable. the cropped pants like above would show off the shoes better.
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
i really like the jumpsuit- with a cool belt with gold hardware
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
I think the jump suit might not look 'posh' enough, I say go for the pretty blouse and smart/crop trousers
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less…
I think this would like nice :
Love Label*Zip Peg Leg Trousers | Very.co.uk
(In Black)
WITH
Lipsy*Contrast Trim Blouse | Very.co.uk
Here are some other trousers you may like:
South*Soft Trousers | Very.co.uk
I think the black ones are nice
Love Label*Cropped Peg Trousers | Very.co.uk
The tan color looks flattering.

Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
Is it a very dark gray because if not it could easily look casual, which i don't think you're going for
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
Like what catskn posted. Very sophisticated and classy.
Re: Help me girls! - looking expensive for less.....
And since you're like a hundred pounds now, you could pull it off too!
