A 'fancy' sari with pretty jewelry and make-up/hairdo will look elegant, hopefully.
Gina; yeah I like that color but it looks more mehroon to me than magenta?! I hate that about internet shopping btw; you can't really be sure about the colours in the pictures.

i think you should try to find a silvery-grey/platinum sari with silvery-grey/platinum kaam... it would make the set stand out more and look all glam and sparkly too!
