I wont be buying an outfit for eid, as im too fat now, and no point in buying anything il be around 38 weeks preg then anyway, so i had an idea…im going to buy some plain black material-chiffon? dont know what material yet, so help me out i want a material that drops and wont make me look fatter…and in black…
also what kinda designs can i put on it, like neck designs, and i was thinking of getting ribbons on it and stuff to make it look nice enough for eid…
Black chifon would definitelt not make you look fat. Make sure it's a long kameez though. You could add some silver/grey into it or maybe maroon? Incorporatin grey/ maroon thick silver ribbon at the bottom of the shirt and on the 2 corners of the dopata would look nice. You make have an A line shirt or even a black chifon anrkali with lots of pleats?
The straight long black shirt will work well or you can make a gorgeous black chiffon anarkali (you can wear it after pregnancy too) with a border in hot pink jamawar.
You can even do a double patti with hot pink and bright turqoise…or triple with another color. The material should be jamawar though to dress it up.
For the neckline you can do a simple sequins gala or even play around with gota! Thin delicate gota would look fantastic!
You see the bottom of this lehnga? That fabric is jamawar…it instantly dresses up any outfit. I dont know about how easy it is to find desi-ish fabrics in UK but its an idea.
if u know any body afgani women or tailer contact them their FROQS cant b copared with anar kali any way its amazing u can wear it with ALI BABA shavar(like arabic}
have u seen in ali baba 40 chor any film or story there is margena s role she wearthis its arabic style trousre with cuff in uk its called alli baba i will try for pic
nadz i think crinkle chiffon is the best option for you, you can get self embroidered chiffon pieces in the markets in any colour you desire too, and used plain chiffon for side panels. The jamawar patti is a nice highlight too.
