aik toh usski battery is slowly dying… it shuts down coz of low battery power after 4-6 hrs of use instead of the usual 8-10 hrs…
Right now i tried playing a song for my mom but it went on one song and just went to the next.. no sound, nothing.. so i shut it off, thinking it might help, but now it won’t turn on!! I tried hooking it up to the charger, nothing… hooked it up to comp, kuch nahin..

go to the shop where u bought it from.....ask them to fix it for u and if they fails to do so .....ask for the payment back. If they dont do that either, ask for the replacement.

Welcome to the fake world of gizmos my dear. Look very closely at the design of the pod, there are absolutely no visible screws. It will go back to Apple for batt replacement, which means a $270 loss from ur pocket. Dont whine, ur not alone, this pod has a battery problem so if u carry a valid guarantee, throw it back in the face of the dealer & get a replacement or buy a new one...Im sorry but this is the real truth with the battery.
How old is your iPod....it is well-known that after some time, around 2 years, you have to buy a new battery, even rechargeable batteries run out...so I would recommend gettin the battery changed....:)
i called the ipod store where i bought it and they said just bring it in.. i bought it in february so the warranty is still good… they didnt mention anythign about paying extra tho ..
