OP: I wud say go for wider frames so they cut your face length...but the best bet would be to go at the shop and try different things ofcourse :) usually the optician can suggest suitable frames for you according to your face shape

Take a friend with you and try different ones. Us telling you without having seen you wouldn't help. You need to see what suits your face shape.

Yea & that friend should be realist and sincere enough that would advice you good. Not because your desperate to get a pair of glasses but she should be able to tell which pair looks best on you. You can buy frames - the copies - of branded glasses. It might cost you around a thousand or less than this. Additional charges apply if you order for number waley glass

She means the price she quoted was without the number waly glasses and additional charges would apply for putting the glass lens in. I sometimes buy without number walay glasses and keep them for future use :P

I wear glasses and I have like a heart shaped face I bought two pairs one that is a thick black frame just plain, and one pair that don't show the frame around the eye area so they are a bit lighter on the face. As people have said above its no use asking people about frames because the ones I have may not suit ur facial features or size etc. try different styles of frames on to find out what looks good.
