I’m not pregnant or breastfeeding anymore and I’m in my early 40’s.
I have tried everything including eating spinach, eggs, lentils and chicken. I eat red meat most days anyway but it’s been like this for ages now. I am very self conscious about my hair (what woman ain’t) cos it used to be long, thick and permed looking (naturally curly hair).
I sleep well, am not stressed and take regular vitamins etc but everytime I wash my hair, I lose a few strands. It’s now got to the stage where I dread washing it. I have tried using volume boosting shampoos and conditioners but they are not long lasting. I apply olive oil mixed with almond oil, Vitamin E oil, castor oil once a week but it’s not making much difference.
Is there anything I should be doing and not doing? Is anyone else going through this and what have they done?
Losing a few strands in the shower is natural. =/ Unless you're talking like literally handfuls falling out, then you're safe. Hair falls out when it's weak. Take fish oil tablets and biotin, it should help make your hair stronger.
