HELP I don't know how many inches I should have my wedding dress trail???

The lady in the shop said an average trail is 30 inches but I have decided on 25 inches as I don’t want it too long but now I’m thinking is 25 inches too short? I don’t know as none of the dresses in the shop had trails as they don’t normally do bridals.

Can anyone help here please? I am getting a maxi dress made for my walima.

Thanks.

25 should be fine. A nice neat trail that won't drag.

Why don't you go into a western bridal shop and try on some of those dresses with trains and see what length you are comfortable with?

just stand in one spot and have someone measure out 25" behind you from your ankles out. mark it with tape and you’ll be able to see roughly how far it’ll go.

fyi, this is a chapel length train which is usually 48" - http://www.ebridalgowns.ca/a-line-tulle-venise-lace-adorns-bodice-sweetheart-neckline-chapel-length-train-wedding-dresses-kb233941-3107.html
your train at 25" would be about half this length.
