Re: Help! Help! Buying/Applying MakeUp

i’m not well and off work at the moment so i have nothing else to do!
MAC is a great brand and most of my makeup is MAC. some people have issues with their foundations (they claim that they cause spots) but no one i know personally has had any problems. For the price (in the UK at least) their eyeshadow’s are by far and away their best products. The colour payoff is great and they have soooo many shades and finishes.
The girl in the second link i gave you does her eye looks with mainly MAC eyeshadows and pigments. She has some really good tutorials on creating eye bases that make the shadows more vibrant and how to blend.
A lot to of makeup artists use MAC. For weddings I think the preferred choices for foundation are ‘Face and Body Foundation’ and ‘Studio Tech Foundation’. Personally i use Studio Fix Fluid. I would try them all out and if you can, take pictures of yourself (flash and non-flash) to see how they look. Dunno if you can do that in Pakistan or if people would give you weird looks! Sometimes foundations look great in the mirror but terrible in pictures so it’s worth checking.
hmm.. other little things. i think it’s worth having a ‘brightening’ pen. i use Dior Skinflash. it makes a huge difference to the under eye area.
if you can, check out NARS Cosmetics, their blushes are amazing and they have some great shades for creating a natural glow.
