I will be in town for couple weeks. Please those who live in Cambridge or study in Harvard let me know if you know any good Pakistani food. On Zabihah.com its mostly Arabic places, which I am getting tired of now. Don’t if there is another website where I can find more Pakistani restaurants then Arabic/Bengoli/Indian/Afghani. Your help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Modz, plz leave this one in general for a day and then move it later.
Re: Help!! Halal restaurants around Harvard Square
i'm pretty sure there aren't many Pakistani restaurants in boston (if u find one lemme know). i've only seen indian restaurants.
boston shawarma on huntington and shawarma king are good places to try; they're in boston proper so you'll have to T or cab it from cambridge.
Re: Help!! Halal restaurants around Harvard Square
Near Harvard, there is nothing. Only one halaal restaurant some 2 Miles away.
I had tried Crab cake 3 years ago, didn't like it. I am going to check Legal Seafood.
Re: Help!! Halal restaurants around Harvard Square
Well if it is not too late already ( meaning you've already been there). The best halal desi place near Harvard is "Grain & Salt" or "Salt & Grain"...its across the river in Allston. You can find the exact address on google. Don't go to 'Kebab & Tandoor'
Re: Help!! Halal restaurants around Harvard Square
I have been eating at Legal Seafoods (good food btw), Ali Baba Tandoor at 2088 Mass Ave. and I recently found Salt and Grain (desi halal rest) in Alliston at Cambridge Ave. Good quality fine dining :k: a must check. I am here for another two weeks, will see if there is anything else.
What activities can one do in Boston at this time of the year? Marketplace? Piers? Whale watching? I thought there was an old castle in surrounding?
Re: Help!! Halal restaurants around Harvard Square
Well not much at this time of the year since its always raining on the weekends....lol. You can go to Boston common area during day for some shopping or just walk around old historic buildings. Come back at night for some good restaurants in the area, there is also a big multiplex there, which is probably the only theater with decent size screens in Boston that i know off. Also, if you are into night life then the area has lots of Bars and Clubs too.
Other than that, I don't know much since I am also discovering the city. Most weekends I actually hang out around the Harvard square area at my friend's place and go out to some restaurant in Harvard square.
