Help/guidance/suggestions for weight loss

Hi all,
I have gained several pounds due to sitting and studying throughout the day and not exercising but need to get into shape because I have weddings coming up that I am a big part of. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to loose weight (like 10 pounds of so) in about 3 weeks?

I know, I know it’s not the healthiest however I am getting pretty desperate here.

well, 10 lbs in 3 weeks is a pretty hectic number. your gonna have to be VERY STRICT

-increase your intake of protein and decrease your intake of carbs. this is actually the number one rule of the South Beach diet, which is very successful.

-take out ALL JUNK from your daily routine. this includes juice. although its healthy for you, it is very high in sugar. instead, eat an orange or apple, since u get the juice along with the fiber.

  • drinks LOTS of water. i'm talking 8 full glasses. and do NOT drink anything but water (and milk) that means NO soda. not even diet.

  • stay away from potatoes, corn, carrots, and other super sweet veges, as they have alot of sugar. go for broccoli, spinach, asparagas, artichokes, these are VERY filling and healthy.

  • eat fruits like watermelon, apples, oranges, strawberries, grapefruit

  • eat lots and lots of salad (with a side of chicken or fish) cuz u have to keep your protein energy up....

EDIT- oh yea, of course..EXCERCISE!!!! even if its a couple of laps around the block or 2-4 turns up and down your house stairs, it all adds up
