(I’m new on here so apologies if my post doesn’t come across well)
Really would appreciate all your valuable expertise and advice please.
I’m getting married in August and desperately need some advice on my wedding dress selection..
Have short listed it down to three but absolutely confused as to which one I should go for, I feel they are all equally beautiful!
To help put it into context the following may help…
-The venue is at a hotel which looks romantic, little castle like
-Would like to keep the ambience soft, cream décor etc
-Shaadi & Waalima will all be on one day
-Im Pakistani & marrying a Indian gujerati, (their outfits and traditions vary a little)
Well here goes…
I am honestly so stressed with the decision… :smack: So jazakallah in advance for your kind responses.
Thankyou for your advice, 2nd one is actually really blingy and heavy, the pictures don't do it any justice...but I guess photos on the wedding are a key factor!
I did like number 1 but felt it wasn't bridal enough
I quite like the first outfit and think it goes best with the romantic, castle-like theme. I don't think the second outfit is that simple (it has loads of work on the skirt part). However, I think it would look nice with a bit more work/detailing on the top.
I think it looks quite bridal. I think it looks nice as it is. I love that colour combination. It will look more complete and bridal when worn with all of the jewellery, makeup and accessories. If you want to make it a bit more "formal," you could make the dupatta part a bit heavier.
I like the 1st one but the color is too light. If your theme is creme, you will just blend into the background.
2nd outfit - lehnga is nice but I hate the choli. Does it come with a dupatta? I wonder how much kaam is on dupatta and if it will make up for the choli being too plain.
3nd one - it has too much kaam on it. I wish the top was simpler. What jewelry would you be wearing with that? Notice the neckline is not that deep, so I think it might look OTT with jewelry.
That's true, my biggest fear is not looking like the bride, I know my in laws will be blinged out to the max lol
The stockist did suggest I could get more work on it and even change the colours, though I quite like those colours...
...It may sound quite pathetic, but I wouldn't want folk to mock me either :(
For the first one, you could make it look a bit more "bridal" (if you don't feel that it is) with jewellery and makeup (I think a dramatic smokey eye would look nice with it).
Its a bit late and you may have probably forgotten by now lol, but I ended up going for the peachy one as most suggested.
Thought I’d let you know and say thankyou to all for the advice received. :bulbuli:
