Newbie here. Happened to come across this site while I was surfing the net.
This place seems to be pretty diverse as there are people from all over the place which is cool.
I was born and raised mostly in Karachi (other than a few years in Dubai), but have been living in New York for quite some time now.
Anyways just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone.

lol, funny story 'tis
I was craving desi Chinese food and thinking of the awesome dishes at Yuan Tung restaurant in Karachi, but being in New York that wasn't a very viable option.
So I did a search for desi Chinese food in NYC. I mean I've been to Chinese Mirch over here but it's not too great; and Tangra Masala was too far; so I thought maybe there's some restaurant that I don't know about. I guess one of the topics from gup shup popped up on the search, one thing lead to another, and the rest is history. :o
