Hello Parents:

(idea is not taken from any other thread)

1-When you travel to Pakistan. Is there any website you go to for information, other that GS ?

2-I know in Canada there are programs like cow-share,veg-share, where you pay certain amount, and you get cow milk, vegetable etc
from your trusted farmer once a week.

Would you like similar stuff from in Pakistan, milk/meat/veg you can trust while you stay there ?

(yes it is :halo:)

Re: Hello Parents:

Aap nay farm khol liya hai Pakistan main?

Re: Hello Parents:

We had farm and animals and stuff.. always.

Re: Hello Parents:

Cool. I would definitely go for it if I were to live in Pak on perma basis....but for a short visit? It's unlikely.

Re: Hello Parents:

hmmmm
Thanks for the input.

Re: Hello Parents:

My family is telling me I WILL get sick and baby definitely will get sick so it would be nice to have a source that is reliable and trusted.

As long as its not an overpriced service, I'd be interested.

Re: Hello Parents:

My father n fil both army ppl n i have spend my whole life in pakistan. In our homes milk n all dairy from fauji setup. They supply at home. For other stuff its CSD which also comes under army.

Re: Hello Parents:

^^ my fil was also in army, they get their milk supply from the army setup and drinking water too.

Outside their home, I carried olphers or nido powder and bottle water or boil water from home.

Re: Hello Parents:

  1. Facebook groups.

  2. For a visit, I may not since you are mostly dependent on other people and if they don't trust the "source" it's hard to convince then of quality etc especially of you don't have experience either. For example, my family lives in pakaitab and they always make my clothes.. I tried an online vendor because I really liked what they offered, the clothes were delivered from Karachi to Islamabad and it was a disappointment. I was told I over paid for cheap quality and that I should have never trusted it.. Let's say I will never bother with an online vendor again. Such is the reality in Pakistan.
