I thought we went over this already. Is being independent and self-reliant equivalent to being a feminist? Then congratulations, you along with most men are feminist. I don’t intend to treat my husband as a 2nd class citizen or someone who is easily replaced or disposed of. I expect the same treatment. Instead of teaching our women to be independent, we find rishtas for them so they could be taken care of by SOMEONE. That doesn’t seem right to me.

Most men, including pakistanis, would love that covertly or overtly but the problem with feminism is that they are trying to be men when they fail at being men in reality.

Case in point: Women here in the US want to be equal in the army, but the army has to lower its fitness standards because majority of them can’t do pull ups due to negligible forearm strength compared to men. You are a sexist if you point that out, so now you know why feminism has become a dirty word in the west as well.
