Dear Guppies,
I welcome all the poets (professional and budding) and also those who are not endowed with this gift but have the ability to comprehend and appreciate this form of art, to this forum. For the sake of convenience, we have divided the forum into two sub-foras. Intekhab is where you can post the works of your favorite poets (ghazals, nazams and asharas) that you want to share with the fellow guppies. Also make sure to acknowledge the poet, please. Shora-e-gupshup as is evident is for our resident poets. Please feel free to share your work with the rest of us and give us a chance to appreciate your skills.
As you all know that 14th of August is just around the corner, exactly twenty three days from today, so I thought of asking you guys for a little favor. First of all, for those who post in Intekhab, may I request you all to post ashars, nazams and ghazals of your favorite poets specifically pertaining to Independence Day or patriotism. Let’s say milli naghmaat written by famous poets.
Secondly, for our very own resident poets, here is a chance for you all to show your talents and if possible express your feelings towards your country in the form of poetry. So lets get started, shall we 
??? We will in the end pick up one best piece from the works of Shora-e-Gupshup and announce it on the 14th of August. How’s that?
Do let me know if you have any suggestions and I will try to accommodate them.

great.. thats exactly something I was looking for.. I remember couple of yrs ago, Amal and Rameesha had this thread started and it worked out soo fine.. there were some nice shair and ghazals that almost everbody shared.. I posted the request y'day to help me find that thread but I guess, no one was able to find it. Anywayz, I just feel like posting my all time fav, Ay Jazba-e Dil one more time. :-)
