there are many great restaurants in chicago, thats why I asked about what type of food. good steak, seafood, asian fusion, italian, french joints.

It depends on what you like.
For clothes, I dont shop on Devon at all but if you absolutely MUST buy something desi then the best places to look will be Chandni and Sahiba. Sometimes you might find decent stuff at Salma Mukhi's but you have to look for it.
For desi food, Sabri and Khan BBQ.
For non-desi..you will have to tell us more about what you like.

for hot dogs u cant beat places like u dog u and hot dougs.
portillo makes some good dogs, and hotdogs are not great for u to begin with so might as well get them charred and really enjoy em.
