So much “empathy” is shown in the west for muslims over the weekend.
Just when so many of us were either waiting for the cricket final or celebrating the result, two major events happened:
Tragedy #1: By now we all know how a terrorist ran his van over the muslims coming out of the mosque in London, UK. One person has already died and several injured.
Apparently the terrorist was blowing kisses while attacking and screaming he wanted to kill all muslims.

Someone in our family was saying that perhaps girls should not take hijab since no amount of policing can stop crazies out there. You don’t even need a gun as shown in virginia case or the london attack.

A driver for a limousine company, Egyptian-born Hassanen moved to the US in 1987 and Nabra, born in the US, was the eldest of four daughters. On Saturday, he recalled, she had 13 Muslim friends over at the family flat in Reston, Virginia, to break fast at about 8.30pm. They left at 9.30 or 9.45pm for late night prayers, held during the last 10 days of Ramadan, at the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (Adams) mosque in nearby Sterling.
Breathing hard to keep his emotions in check, Hassanen said they gave this version of events: “My daughter fell down. When she fell down, the guy hit her with a baseball stick. He went and drove his car and came back, and picked her up and threw her in a lake a mile from the mosque.”

aameen…these senseless killings probably are retaliation to terrorist acts being committed all around us…they might say, “well, those terrorists didn’t lnow their victim seithert”. i think if terrorists play this murderous game, iinocent victims will be paying the price. i hope the rule of the law of land prevails and potential innocents victis of both terrorists and their retaliators…May Allah guide us all…aameen.

Exactly what some force wants us all to do . Fight in the name of religion . Christians fighting Muslims . Muslim fighting Christians . We need to realize now is the time we remain patient and do what is best for humanity .
We are heading straight into a very difficult and a violent era . I fear for the next generation .

Just read today that the killer of poor Nebra was an undocumented Immigrant.
Now Trump and white supremacists must be in a dilemma whether continue to cherish the murder of a muslim and find an excuse for the killer or raise the issue of illegals committing crimes.

They can now obamawail about him importing MS-13 into the US that murdered an “american teen”. I have already seen it happen aside from the usual islam meets MS-13.

Aah..MS-13, my hometown gang. You know all the deaths by them happened within our school district, just few miles around my home. As a result it feels like a police barricade these days, but rightly so.
WASHINGTON - The memorial for a teen murdered near a Virginia mosque was set on fire in Dupont Circle on Wednesday, according to fire officials.
DC Fire said they responded to the scene at about 8:30 a.m. and found the remains from the memorial for 17-year-old Nabra Hassanen on fire at the Dupont Memorial Fountain on Connecticut Avenue NW.
The suspect, 22-year-old Darwin Martinez Torres, became enraged during a traffic argument with a teen in the group who was riding a bicycle, according to officials.
Police said the argument escalated and Torres pulled over, chased the group with a baseball bat and attacked Nabra.
After hitting her with the bat, authorities said Torres took Nabra in his car to another nearby location and assaulted her again. Her body was later found in a pond.
Authorities confirmed Nabra was assaulted twice before her death - once in Loudoun and once in Fairfax - and confirmed they were investigating whether she was sexually assaulted during one of those attacks.

The more details come out of this story, the more heartbreaking it becomes. Her death is nothing short of a horror movie and I have so many questions. How could her friends not see that she wasn’t with them when they ran off? She must have screamed for help! How far was the masjid? And why didn’t people immediately from the masjid run to find her? When I saw her father’s interview, it broke my heart, I can’t imagine the pain they must be feeling. My God give them sabr and make it easier on them. Ameen.

Thats true, its just like a horror story. As its the talk of the town (among muslims), I was attending namaz in a different masjid and there the imam raised a important religious perspective. He said the concept of “mehram”/“na-mehram” in Islam is there for a purpose which is very often ignored. Had those kids being with some mehram at 2am in the morning, atleast that person could have resisted. Or the attacker might have not dared at all.
But I guess its useless to overanalyze it now. May ALLAH bless her soul.
I just worry about all the other girls/women who cover their head and do their day-to-day business, they are really vulnerable in this hostile environment.
