Okay guys I’m 5"7 what is ur height?
I know for sure that a lot of my bengali friends are really short like 5"1 and I usually tower over my white friends as well- but in my family I’m short and I get teased for it.
I even tower over my pakistani friends. lol I went to a kataam the other week and I think I was the tallest in the room. But u know what I like my height- In highscool and college I was really conciuos of it but now I’m fine with it. At least I’m not too short.

i’m abt 5’1 n i hate it. well it runs in my family since both my folks are not very tall. My elder bro is the tallest in the family standing at 5’11.
i hate walking next to tall ppl..it makes me look tiny n i hate walking next to KIDS who share the same height as me or are taller.

I'm 5'7, and although there was a time I used to feel conscious about it, now I like it! :)

Hubby's 5'10" so theres not a huge difference...
my parents are short but my brother's almost 6 feet tall, his wife is 5'9" and my nephew already looks like he's goign to be tall (his limbs/fingers are very long mashallah).

Its Allah who made you such. He did so because he wished so. I am 5' 7" myself. But never been un-thankful to God.
He makes you they way you are because he wishes to test you the way you are.

i’m 5’6"…for my fam’s that just about average height. i’m a bit taller than most of my girl cousins, but i gots a cousin who’s like 5’8" 
hey atleast i can wear heels

GreenBird- that was very well said. well i m 4"10. i do feel short with my best friend who is 5"6. but i wear big heels so that makes me look tall. but if my friend also wears heals then i feel like a midget next to her. but anyways i thank Allah for making me the way i am.

Although I'm 5"7 that's quite short in my family. The only people who are shorter that me are my mum and my nine yr old brother.
My dad must be 6"0/5"9 and my sister is 5"7 and still growing. my little brother who is 14 is 5"9.
So in my family we're really tall

in skool even i felt kind of awkward , as some of my teachers had the same height as me. but now i'm happy . that i'm neither tall nor short . an average person

I'm 5 foot 9. Can be a bit annoying sometimes as everyone always seems to comment on my height especially if they haven't seen me in a while.

As a Bengali I am 5"1. Majority of Bengali women are short.
