Like any girl, I just loooovee heels!!! and can never have enough. I buy shoes before i buy my outfits but wearing heels to work hurts my toes ! i then have to constantly go for pedicures so that my big toe or the heel on my foot doesnt become hard.
Is there any way to over come that? I cant imagine not wearing heels, at davats since were sitting most of the time i dont really feel it. But when i wear them to work and have to be up on my feet its painful

I wear heels a lot, but i never go get my pedi done, as, if you take care of your feet in the shower, you'll be fine.
Gel insoles are great, soak u're feet in warm water and bath salts when you get home! I love heels too, by calves ache though by the end of the day :( to prevent callouses get regular pedicures and slather-on a rich foot cream before you go to bed.

its not that...my shoes are way more costly then my outfits are.... I spent entire pay checks on A pair of shoes. Its just the discomfort and callalus at the end of the day. BTW i work at a school. So im up all that.... that could be it too

thanks for the advice gina. I do use this foot cream and scrub every other or every night. I try to get pedicures two times a month. Ill try the bath salts. lets see.

(1) she doesn't really walk anywhere except from car to b.
(2) there are those numbing injections one can get so you can't feel the pain.
VB is on her way to bunions (you can see the boney bump on the base of her big toes and the toe angled inwards). It's common in women who wear heels a lot.

Heels are a crime againt feet !
The biggest favour you can do yourself is to treat your feet right . After all they carry all your weight !

but heels make an outfit look so much nicer and more glam than it could be! thats y i take the pain that comes along with it!!! Im starting to get that on my toe too its kinda getting mest up ...the shape of it looks kinda off.... i think?

True but nowadays there are a lot of brands that combine elegance and comfort and one should opt for those rather than heels that kill your feet slowly !

on one of the TV commercials, once i saw a shoe with a heel that neatly folds in to become a flat. did any1 of u own a pair like that or have tried one on? if yes, is it as good as they claim it to be good?

..... invest also in a weekly foot treatment- pedicure with a paraffin wax treatment... I swear by them!

do you wear them on the way to work as well? Maybe you could bring a pair of comfy flats for off times like during lunch, that way you could give yourself a break.
And I really dont think it has to do with the brand of shoe at all, its definitely the type of work you're doing. I've worked retail and its insane to be on your feet for 8 hours wearing a pair of heels.

WEAR WEDGE HEELS!!!
they are the most comfortable thing on earth.....i dont happen to wear heels alot but if i ever do i wear wedge heels........they hurt less :)

that is sooo true. I had traveled one time from Miami to Chicago then from Chicago to Michigan and then Michigan to canada and last Canada to New York ...the entire trip all i had worn was 3 pairs of wedges and it couldnt have been easier than that!!!!!
Chicago and Canada had required lots of walking and it was so comfy walking in the wedges...but the only bad thing is that you cant wear them all year long.

wedge shoes are wayyy more comfortable to wear than 4 inch high heels (even tho i love them but like 2 or 3 in.) they are easier to walk in!
what are some of your favorite brand or not, high heel/fancy shoes? I want to get some that won't hurt like hell, for work!
