hey guys, im going to attend a wedding . i want to wear a really nice saree but its light heavy. how tight should i wear >?im confused help

wear it as you normally would, i.e. as comfortable as you can make it without being afraid it'll fall off. it won't hurt the baby in any way :)

you should really tie above the bump.. only way it can be comfy.

at 14 weeks.. you should be able to tie it wherever you please.. unless you already have a big bump.

i agree with sgc.. tight enough so it doesnt fall.. i used to tighten the zaar band as tight as i would normally wear it.. cuz a heavy saari WILL loosen it up in no time.

I was about 14 weeks when I wore one and felt below the bump was too low, and on the bump wasn't comfortable/secure, so just tied above.

oh man sahar... i once went to a wedding .. there was this pregnant woman there.. huge in the belly... she wore a sari below the bump.. it was not a pretty sight at all!!!!! how can you do that?! my eyes my eyes!!

a hijabi friend ties it below her bump when she is preg but she wears an old ladies blouse.. sorta like a short kurti.. its not the prettiest of ways to wear a sari but oh well..

also, opt for a pure silk sari, nothing sheer. it looks more elegant, imho, when you're sporting a bump, and that way, above or below won't matter because no one will be able to see where it is. plus the silk is so soft and easy to wear.
