i think this is kinda repetative but w/e
ok i have been saving a couple pctures of outfits to make when i got to khi.
my ticket was booked and payed already for the DECEMBER 8th. But i think my weddings going to be delayed a couple months. You guys probably already know threw my other threads. Now my flight is changed for May the 1st i have more time now and if my wedding date is still set for June 19th then thts perfect ill be back home in Miami by June 1st right when all my events will begin.
Ok so heres the thing, If i give the darzi (tailors) the pictures of the suits i want do you think they would be able to make the clothes within a month. Ive already decided on having more than one darzi do my stuff. one who is going to do all the embrodery clothing, one whos going to just stich the kapra thats already done and the other for my sister and moms clothes and the last one for lyk altering.
I have lyk absoultely no relatives in khi. or anywhere in pakistan unfortunately, so im going to be depending on my moms friend who already has started a few outfits.
Do you guys have any darzis who have done excellent work on kaam located in khi?
do you think i should just forget making copies of those outfits i lyk? i know its very little time but I work at an elementary school, attend school myself, teach at an islamic school and then rotate from my house with my parents to the weekends with my in-laws i have lyk NOO time to go to pakistan other than tht one month off right before my wedding i`A.

i think the fact that u have more than one darzi doing ur clothes is a great idea! if you really like some suits and have their pics saved then by all means print out those pics and take em with you to pakistan! honestly, one month seems like a good amount of time but its really not so i suggest you get to your kapray RIGHT away..you're gonna have to pick out fabric, decide what type of embroidery you want, etc..
and you're probably going to like new designs over there too so dont be lazy and get to your shopping the day after you get there. good luck! :)
i knooo!!! the clothes i order now are all designer but thats only because its more convient living here and stuff, the only bad thing is their really pricy. its really stressful since theres lyk no one i kno there at first we were even debating whether to go or not cause the halat their isnt really good and my wedding joras will come in the mail. and as for my fiance clothes that can be made designer too if anything. But if you think about it , you only get married once and its much different when you have all the choices in front of you, then just purchasing an outfit seen from the internet.
i had three weeks to do mine and dey were done! i did wot ur planning to do, have a couple of darzi. it worked out well gud and i got my clothes done faster!
hey there is a store on tariq road (dont remember the name, but ll look for it if needed), they sell heavy full of kaam outfits, we bought like 10 outfits from them...they had the kapra, did the embom. and the stitching of the suit too. all of my outfits were perfect and the work is really nice...only thing is v had to fight over the price for an hour (but thats every where in pakistan). ..timing and the fact that no extra drazi was invld. was great.

My entire jahez and my SIL's entire bari were made at Barka by Shahina Zubairi. They did great work and sent everything to the US on time. But I think you need several months to order so many things.
Hey i just came from karachi i went there for shopping i would say forget getting the copies just go to Kehkashan and u would find the most beautiful stuff there although getting things made within a month would be really really stressful and a difficult task to do till the time u will come here the designs u want would get old probably and u can find new stuff there the three markets for getting kaam donei would recomend are kehkashan, ghosia and kartaba....
