Heaviness in chest

In the past few months I’ve noticed , whenever I eat alo ka paratha, I feel heaviness in my chest even before I’m halfway through it. Normal paratha doesn’t cause that nor fries or other potato stuff I eat. Why does alo ka paratha do this ? Does it happen with you or someone you know ?

Re: Heaviness in chest

Assalamualaikum
Do you have heartburn problem?

Re: Heaviness in chest

:wsalam:
I have it on and off but this isn’t heartburn. It’s different.

Re: Heaviness in chest

give up aalo ka pratha... or take up walk after eating it...

Heaviness in chest

Try qeema Ka paratha with lassi

Re: Heaviness in chest

have less aaloo in your aaloo kaa paraaThaa…btw, how many paraaThaas you eat in one go? one paraaThaa shouldn’t cause this but 3 would for sure! :bummer:

Re: Heaviness in chest

If I don’t have problems after normal paratha or after eating potatoes, then why have a problem after eating aalo ka paratha ? I’m not even overweight. On the contrary, I’m slightly underweight. I don’t have high blood pressure either.
It goes off in an hour or two.

I love qeemey ka paratha  without lassi. It needs no additives :snooty:

I have it by the time I reach half of it but I finish a whole paratha . I don’t think a normal person can eat 3 parathas BTW.

Re: Heaviness in chest

Re: Heaviness in chest

Please contact to your health care provider.

Re: Heaviness in chest

Maybe a person with an abnormal appetite :p

I wouldn't have posted here if I wanted to do that.

Re: Heaviness in chest

LP dont think every one is here to help you.
They just hear because they heard "aalo ka pratha"

Re: Heaviness in chest

Probably Acid reflux/GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). Check with your doctor. It could get worse of left untreated.

Re: Heaviness in chest

Maybe frying gluten with potatoes produces some substance which your system is sensitive to? But this is just a guess.

Another guess is that you might be eating alu ka paratha more frequently than your system can digest?

Re: Heaviness in chest

:hehe:

Not acid reflux. That gives a burning sensation.

I eat it maybe once in a couple of months.
