There is the tree of wisdom/knowledge.
The tree of eternal life.
And then the tree of Evil.
Which is which? I thought there were two trees - knowledge and life - so which one did Adam eat from - because according to the Quran, THAT tree was the tree of Evil. This translator - Abdullah Yusuf Ali - says it was not from the tree of knowledge. But it can’t be from the tree of life either…?

There is no mentioning of the type of fruit in Quran except for it was forbidden.
The translators who tend to transliterate into defining the type are often affected by the corrupted version of the Gospel and/or Torah.
In any case, the moral and guidance of the event does not emphsize over the type of fruit but the fact that Allah is to be followed over desires and satan.
Re: Heaven's Trees
I have always been of the assumption that that Adam ate from the tree of life...and with that bite from the tree of life one gained knowledge and wisdom.
God knew Adam ate from that tree because he knew to cover his nakedness. Prior to that he was innocent.
I had always thought the fruit was an apple or a pomegranate.
