I have my own heating air conditioning contracting practice so anyone living in the toronto area who needs any type of support with sales or service of these systems can email me.
you need to have your ducts cleaned emm. even I can answer that.
Furqan....my furnace runs fine for several hours.....then we notice that the air in the vents is cold.......we reboot the furnace (i.e. turn it off and then on again) and it blows hot air.
Does the cold air usually come a minute or two before when the furnace is about to turn off? I believe, u gotta get ur furnace cleaned, i remember u telling me that u had some work done in the basement. All dat debri and dust probably accumulated on the heating elements in the furnace. This could be be the reason why its like dat, but i would really have to look at it 2 tell u exactly whats wrong.
Evil: Try lubricating the ducts with oil lol… nah, its easy, most ducts are made of tiny sheet of aluminimum. Cut the ducts out…call firefighter

Oh hey guess what! My dad is a mechanical engineer and he started a small business (specializing in heating and air conditioning)! You guys can be, like, TWINS!
maddy explained it well… its basically the water that condense off your evaporator coils and drains through a rubber tubing, which i hope you have installed properly. Most of the time the tube gets clogged and the water starts dripping inside your home which can cause damage to various things.
Phati: thats cool, send him 2 da next toronto guppy meet!
