Any guppy have any idea how to spend 12 hours on Heathrow Airport.Can a person with Canadian Permanent Residence status and pakistani passport get a visa on the airport for 24 hours to go outside.If yes then what,s the procedure and cost.

you will have to ask the immigration officer there if you can be let out. it is possible to get a 24 hour visa - no charge. it is totally up to them but if you have a good reason (ie. what the heck am i supposed to do in the terminal for 12 hours???) they should be OK with it - speaking from personal experience.

With Canadian PR (on PK passport) u are only allowed air-side transit, means u will not be allowed outside the airport, you should have applied for normal C type visa if u wanted to go out of airport.
Canadian passport holders (or visa holders on PK passport) can go out if stay is more than 8 hours.

I agree with Ruiner, its all up to the immigration officer and on how convincing ur reason is. I was able to get a temporary (24 hr) visa back in 2002. I had a US PR and Pakistani passport, everyone else in my team had a US passport tho.
