should schools in pakistan start health education classes? im concerned that young girls in pakistan dont know a thing about PMS. I had an eleven year old cousin come and tell me frightened as hell what happened to her in the bathroom… why arent these things taught to girls there?
What happened to her in the bathroom?
she got her period...
I thought it would be that, but didn't want to assume. Surely they must have some kind of classes in pak for stuff like this?

Isn't that better than a comma, or a semicolon for that matter? :D
But seriously, it's the mother's job to inform her daughter of the changes that are supposed to take place in her life...In the absence of which an elder sister, in the absence of which, some other, older, closer relative...There is nothing to inform about, it's a change which every woman must go through but must be prepared for...
what confuses me is that she goes to a british school, has 3 elder sisters and a mum... but no one has informed her.. and shahreen na they dont have classes.. i asked my cousins
Yes they should.
Can't remember what age we had our health education classes in England.....but I do remember that by the time it was our classes turn to watch the video we'd already learnt it all from the playground anyway.
Besides, as you say - your cousin has 3 elder sisters and a mother. Surely one of them should've already told her about this?
