Its been 4 yrs of NS govt and 5 yrs of Zardari, since the minister for energy promised that loadshedding will be eliminated in 1year. After 9 years, this Ramadhan the news is that there is strong heat waves which ofcourse we cant control except sustaining better environment, but the loadshedding has swamped entire country.
Right the first night of Ramadhan there was a huge power breakdown in Karachi, and the entire city had to eat their sehri in darkness, something they chuckled as “Candle light sehri”.
Punjab has a similar situation.
Not sure about other provinces.
My question is, will it ever end? It should be in top 3 priorities if not the first one and till when we keep on electing rulers who are only good at making false promises?
Power Cuts, govt should be blamed but along with this, the persons/region feel pride in not paying due bills or resort to KunDa system are real culprits…
The govt does not take action against these criminals…
there are mafias everywhere…the bureaucrats don’t want to pay their bills.
the wapda employees don’t to pay their bills.
the big industries want subsidized bills.
the govt. gives it a s*** they only want political gimmickry.
instead of going after the thieves, only thing govt. does is add this load to the ones who are paying their bills.
its a hopeless place man, nothing will ever change there. Have u seen the cobwebs of wires hanging everywhere to get connections. How can anyone make any sense of that. It’s ridiculous.
Theft/Corruption/Bribery/Political Influence has caused havoc on the country since Quaid passed away.
Our “leaders” are only loyal to USA/UK/UAE etc as thats where all their stashed money is and that’s where their families live and hold nationalities.
