Iraqis dread new night callers, flee homes in droves
http://today.reuters.com/News/CrisesArticle.aspx?storyId=MAC413372
BAGHDAD, May 26 (Reuters) - Sometimes it’s a word in the ear from a neighbour, maybe a threatening note left by the door, a sinister phone call or just a vague, creeping sense of dread. Then again it can be gunmen taking over the street and slaughtering friends and family before your eyes – whatever it is that persuades Iraqis to grab their children and flee their homes in the night, they are doing so in growing numbers.

^^ Welcome to the land of tribals, the Middle Easterners, the lost, the corrupt, the arrogant. Welcome and enjoy the show.

Re: Hearts and minds--part deux

And your point is? Oh right, you dont have any.
Paul Wolfowitz: The war will finance itself.

This discussion is way over your wet dream obsession with arabs. Geopolitcal topics are not games to be played by children like you.

Re: Hearts and minds–part deux

His point, As always…NOTHING… just beat around the bush.

Re: Hearts and minds--part deux

War is an ugly thing and even the mightiest and bravest nations make mistakes. Remember Uhad and an almost averted defeat even when the Muslim armies were commanded by our Messenger pbuh.

Bad assessment of Ottomans resulted in their defeat at the hands of Ruskies.

Hujjaj was humiliated in two campaigns against Dahir. Third time was the charm for him when Qasim kicked Dahir out of Deebal.

Iraq war is a mess, but who said every war is going to be a TV war like GW-I. The thing that really matters is that the Arab terrorists are defeated and peace is brought to the poor Iraqis.

Oh wait! The Arab lackeys would never like peace in Iraq. They would rather have Saddam Insane in power.

Re: Hearts and minds--part deux

So are you also saying that Islam is not relevant today?

Re: Hearts and minds–part deux

You were sayin…:sleep2:

Re: Hearts and minds–part deux

You need this picture to go along with above.

Re: Hearts and minds–part deux

dope i’m glad you use the laugh therapy to live long and healothy life:hehe:

Bush is a short sighted politician who though modern technology would make his wars easier, but he forgot the “human factor”
hell yes human factor has not changed since VietNam, US have the most powerfull army, but the most powerfull army can not control free minds, and iraki are not fed up Fox news since childhood unlike americans:hoonh:…so they buy with difficulty the BS about the “liberation” of the US army, all they see is that their life has got terribly worse since americans came, so they blame americans!
Even iraki minister is realising that his country would have had a much better outcome with nukes, cause Bush would never have invaded and colonised Irak if they had nukes..so he’s even supporting iran (shia friends now that sunnis are not ruling irak any more)

what about afghanistan??hmmmm
after years of US occupation things have not improve much, but afghan are seeing american on tv now, and their confort are making jealous, so when arrogant americans are killing civilians with their (bad) driving habits, things turns nasty.
Especially cause lanlords aren’t that happy that gvt is trying to make some order in the drug traffic:D…less US troops means freer drug buisness, so americans are not welcome anymore:D

Re: Hearts and minds--part deux

Yeap! Bunch of AK47 toting drug pushers. This is the height of Afghan civilization (if there is ever one). Then you are the one to blame Americans. hahah

Re: Hearts and minds--part deux

.

Re: Hearts and minds--part deux
