I had hyperemesis and just had my baby in May… i was hospitalised too… the last year is just a blurr for me.. it was horrible… thank god my daughter is here and i can eat now… i used to gt heartburn from just drinkn water!! i wud have tums and that wud help but at times it used to make me vomit too… cyclizine didnt wrk for me… i took metroclopramide which only really started wrkin weni was abt 16-20 wks… gd luck hun… there is light at the end of the tunnel xx

I know what you mean! I get heartburn from just water too and tums are useless since they make me throw up. I’m going to get something stronger since this is preventing me from eating properly.
I am actually on zofran, which is the strongest antiemetic supposedly. It works, but just didnt work orally in my first trimester, so I had to get a pump and insert a small needle in my belly so the medicine is automatically released into my skin and absorbed from there. This worked since I can give myself a booster if I feel extremely sick. I am probably going to be throwing up till I deliver :(.
