hmm. I am also facing this problem. After a few tests, we were told that our children may have genetic disorders and will not live beyond their teens, and this disease was like a life sentence. Every doctor we spoke to, including friends who are doctors, said don't go through with it. I don't know if i'm right or wrong to choose not to have a child if it means they will die eventually. I could probably live a few more years without a child and trying for more tests, but having a child, and watching them suffer will probably make me mental and suicidal. I so feel for this woman, she is so strong
