Um, just to clarify, my problem is my toy dalek broke, woe is me. I’m trying to distract myself from the terrible pain caused by his loss.
I’ll give a few generic examples, and you can advise me for each?
Heartbreak caused by generic existential thoughts; life is a boxing match, society sucks, blah blah.
Heartbreak of the romantic kind.
Heartbreak caused by the realization that we are not as in control of our lives as we like to believe.
Heartbreak caused by stupidly falling over and dropping your beloved dalek down the stairs and breaking him in two.
