its urgent!!!someone in the close family had a heart attack recently …
almost unbelieveable when it comes to him
he’s a super active person …n despite being old he still was a tough man …always busy in some physically demanding work
anyway, he had an attack …n now 'm going back there to look after him as no one back home is available at the moment …!!
but i need to educate myself about this whole heart patients business
i checked few sites but thought it would be worth asking you lot …if any of you could help me find a reliable n practical source online
basically …i’m lookig for some info about food …which foods r good …n very good …specially in desi food
plus what activities can i offer him to keep him occupied n entertained …as he is advised bed rest …n its really hard for a very active person to spend his day on bed !!
any help …???
i’ll really appreciate it
plus …i need it urgent …coz possibly i’ll be on my way to pak this weekend , InshaAllah
No red meat, no fried food, no oily food. Lean white meat only.
After my father's heart attack, my mother stopped giving him desi food for 2 months altogether because of the oil content in there. Ghee is now strictly forbidden at my parents home.
but i'm wondering how can he restore his energies when eating less ....he's already feeling much weakness.....!!!(i still can't imagine him feeling weak)
he's not diabetic ......only problem is heart ...n in this very first attack ....some arteries (sp???) were damaged too!!
plus any idas for him to kill some time .....u know lying in bed just leads to depession...!!!
How long is he supposed to rest for? My father was very weak while he had to rest, but got much better once he was allowed to go for walks. During the early stages of his recovery, he was basically house-bound. He basically watched TV, read the news, browsed the internet and phoned friends.
