baked yoghurt chicken with tomato and cucumber salsa

4 chicken breasts whole
1 cup yoghurt
1 tsp salt or to taste
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder or to taste
1 garlic clove crushed
1 in piece ginger grated
3 tblsp lemon juice
1 tsp crushed cumin seeds

for the salad :

2 tomatoes chopped
1 cucumber peeled into ribbons
a handful of fresh coriander

make deep slashes in the chicken set aside, in a bowl mix together the yoghurt, salt, chilli powder, garlic, ginger, lemon and cumin seeds together thoroughly, pour over the chicken and leave to marinate overnite, if you haveng got time, give it at least 2 hours, preheat oven gas mark 5 place chicken in middle of oven and cook for 20-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked completely. for the salad mix together the tomatoes and cucumber with the coriander and serve with the chicken, u can make a gravy of the left over juices if you prefer. Enjoy

hey just a little error, i forgot put lemon juice and olive oil for the salad dressing, but u can dress the salad however u like. :)

a gas oven?

do you mean a normail cooking gas or a oven?

yes baking is indeed a low calorie way of cooking, along with grilling and microwaving as there is little or no oil used in the cooking.
