We’re in exams so don’t have much time to cook. I’m looking for quick healthy desi-ish recipes.
I don’t wanna spend hours on cooking.
Thanks +

Set a potato to boil. While that's happening, you can continue with your studying or proceed toward getting the other ingredients ready. Dice up a tomato, finely chop a small onion (if you prefer it), open up a can of chickpeas. Dice up the boiled potato. Get some yogurt and mix it till it's smooth...and then add the above ingredients to it. You can even throw in some boondi..which is that crunchy stuff. Add the preferred seasoning (salt, chili powder, etc). And you're done. It's just a chaat...not loaded in calories....you'll be getting some protein with the yogurt and chickpeas...and it's filling.
Here's an easy to make non-desi recipe. Get some deli flats (Pepperidge Farm, etc)....they're only 100 calories. To some ricotta cheese....add a handful of sun-dried tomatoes and salt/pepper to taste....and blend this mixture. You can make a lot of this ricotta spread and store it in the fridge for future use. Spread the ricotta mixture onto the deli flat....put some fresh spinach leaves and olives (and other toppings of your choice)...and place in the toaster oven for a few minutes. It's light and healthy. Just a matter of spreading and throwing on toppings.
