what do you guys pack for lunch and how do you keep it healthy?

What kind of things can one stock up on to avoid over indulging in carbs?

so far im thinking

fish
chick peas
fresh veggies
whole wheat bread
eggs
cheese
yogurt
granola bars
corn
olives
vinegar

and what about healthy dinners? veggie stir fries, baked fish, grilled cheese…what else

Packed Lunch:

  • All of what u’ve mentioned above, and

  • Tuna fish on whole wheat sandwich thins with tons of greens

  • Grilled chicken salad

  • Stir fry veggies/chicken with a small portion of rice/pasta

  • Home made sprouts salad

  • fruit, yoghurt options

Dinner

  • what you’ve mentioned above and
  • grilled stuff

What kinda ssalads, I dunno I dont real consider eating lettuce a meal

How do you make sprouted salads ?

Spinach cobb salad: spinach leaves, boiled egg, kidney beans, mushrooms, tomato, cucumber, italian dressing

Chickpea salad: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, chick peas, lemon vinaigrette

Taco salad: avocado, corn, tomatoes, black beans, cucumber

Or take tuna salad or chicken salad mixture that you made for a sandwich and put it on top of a bed of lettuce instead

Bean salad, chicken salad, chicken and veg stir fry , grilled chicken or fish, boiled egg, shami kebabs, veg kebabs

Grilled chicken
Grilled fish
3 servings of veggies at least if you’re packing a lunch IMHO so you can skip bread
Protein shakes
Grilled steak
I usually do a heavy meal at least once during the day…around 7 or earlier
